The upcoming April 2010 issue of
Wine and Spirits Magazine contains a poll of the
50 Most Popular Wines Wines.
Mollydooker The Boxer was rated as the second most popular Shiraz/Syrah wine and the second most popular Australian wine according to restaurant wine buyers.
I have always thought that the Boxer Shiraz at a $25 retail price is one of the best priced wines on the market. I hate the term "value wine" because its richness places it in the same class of wines that sell easily for $50-$75 a bottle.
The Boxer stands on its own as a great wine.
Restaurants patrons from across the country have confirmed my opinion: The Boxer rocks! In fact, last night I was enjoying a bottle of the 2008 The Boxer and it was delicious.
Congratulations to everyone on the Mollydooker team. This is a great achievement to have your wines so highly favored by consumers who have the option to pick any wine from Australia.
