2009 Mollydooker Wines at Wine Bloggers Conference in Walla Walla Washington

I am very excited to be here at the 2010 North American Wine Bloggers Conference in Walla Walla, Washington. I arrived last night after about 9 hours of door to door travel from New Jersey and the area is very peaceful. This is an agricultural area and I am excited to visit some local wineries and also to introduce the 2009 Mollydooker vintage for the first time in the United States.

I will be pouring the much-anticipated 2009 Mollydooker wines today at the conference reception and tomorrow I will be pouring the 2009 Velvet Glove as part of a red wine tasting roundtable. I can't wait to see the bloggers faces when they sip through the wines.

Wine Bloggers Conference

The Wine Bloggers conference is the premier conference for new media and the wine industry. Bloggers, new media innovators and wine industry leaders have come to on Walla Walla (June 25-27) for the three-day symposium.

The conference brings a unique opportunity for attendees to learn about and discuss the intersection of wine with the world of new media including blogging, social media, and more.

Adding to the excitement of this year’s conference is the debut of select 2009 Mollydooker wines. This is the first time any of the wines in the 2009 series are appearing in the US. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be the first to taste and review the entire 2009 vintage during my trip to the Mollydooker winery in Australia.
